My first visit won't be my last. I went there with 2 good friends of mine. The staff is fun, lively and attentive. I recommend the pesto pasta with chicken! Outta this world! And I love the matchbooks!

To be honest I was high at the time I visited the Yaffa Cafe, so needless to say I came in happy and with a rather large appetite. I do not remember what I ordered, but it was really good, take my word for it, it satisfied my munchies quite well, while making my experience a unique one. I will not forget the decor and crazy tunes playing in the background. And I didnt leave empty-handed, if you know what i mean...(the free condom is what I am referring to). I give this place a perfect review, and I would go back, but i was visiting from out of town. Too bad, but I will have to go back when I visit NYC again in the near future.

Coffee date? Yaffa is cozy and the waiters aren't mean to you if you don't order food and yet sit around for hours nursing drinks. Mealtime? Eclectic mix of tastes to fit any craving/picky eater. Yaffa is all-purpose and wonderful, and as if it could get any better, it's open 24 hours.
I have been going for the past 10 yrs. I love it!10 / 10

I no longer live in NY; however, make it a point to go to Yaffa as soon as I get there. Yaffa Berber chicken and carrot dressing along with the environment is a motivator to take that long 12 hour drive up north to eat at Yaffa.
I no longer miss Houston food!10 / 10

Ah, what a pleasant surprise this was. In the six months that I have been here ,I had not found a restaurant that was a feast to all of my senses AND my wallet! The French Toast was tres excellent! I shall return again and again.

This restaurant was chosen by our nephew. We went on the web to read the reviews and were expecting a decent meal in a decent place. The food turned out to be the worst we'd eaten in a long time. The restaurant was cramped and dirty. The waitstaff uninterested.
